Bruises

Get Rid of Bruises Naturally

Bruises are naturally forming clots of blood that occur after an injury and show up as red, purple or blue splotches on the skin. They are a normal response to an injury. If you are on blood thinners, however, a bruise can be a serious condition. Because bruises are caused by clotting blood, blood thinners can prevent a needed bruise from forming. If you are on medications such as warfarin, stop them immediately and seek medical care to ensure that your injury is healing correctly.
