Get Rid of Wrinkles Naturally

Most women dread their first wrinkle. Wrinkles are a sign of aging and deepen as you get older, making you look haggard and worn when you may be youthful and full of energy! Collagen and elastin are naturally produced by the body and begin to decline in skin as we age and expose this tissue to the elements and wear and tear of everyday life. While in most cases wrinkles are inevitable, you can put them off and reduce them with these simple home remedies.

How can I get rid of wrinkles?

  • Up your antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E as well as beta-carotene and anthcyanins. They can not only prevent wrinkles but some of them, such as retinol from vitamin A can reverse them.
  • Stock up on those omega-3 fatty acids that come from salmon and tuna or almonds and flaxseeds.
  • Add some copper and selenium to your diet, but don’t go out of your way for it. Get it naturally in the same foods that have your omega-3’s.
  • Coffee, cocoa and tea have catechins and epicatechins which help to prevent the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
  • Soy foods, in moderation, help to grow collagen.
  • Look for moisturizers that have retinol, peptides and hydroxyacids.
  • Gently wash with witch hazel. Witch hazel helps to fight off the elements and keep skin healthy naturally.
