Treat Amebiasis Naturally

Amebiasis is a series of gastrointestinal symptoms caused by a parasite known as Entamoeba histolytica. It is most often found in poorer, tropical countries, so it is important that when traveling you make sure you are drinking clean water and only eating foods that have been properly prepared and not left to sit out. Anyone can become ill because of this parasite and will suffer from what they believe is a colon infection. Seeking medical care if you become dehydrated is important. Make sure that if you feel ill with these symptoms that you make sure you are having fluids. Broths, clear fruit juices, and electrolyte-balancing drinks are important in making sure that your body recovers quickly and easily from the parasite. Plus, keeping your fluid intake up helps to flush the bacteria out of the body.

  • Avoid foods that are kept uncovered.
  • Carry your own water with you when you travel.
  • Use only pasteurized milk and dairy products.

How do I treat Amebiasis?

  • Combine turmeric with margosa leaves and a few drops of mustard oil. Massage into the abdomen gently and leave for an hour. Take a soothing bath with lukewarm water and wash it away.
  • Make a mixture of sesame seed oil and drumstick leaves. Head until any liquid is evaporated in the oil, the store and drink for a couple weeks to kill off the parasite.
  • Increase your intake of garlic and onion. They are anti-microbial and will help to kill off the amoeba.
  • Roast an unripe bael fruit, mash up the pulp of the fruit and sweeten with honey. It’s high in anti-microbial properties and will help kill off the bacteria.
  • Eat some apricots! They will help fight off the parasite.
  • Grind guava leaves into a paste and consume twice a day to help dry up the amoeba. The leaves are highly acidic and destroy the parasite.
  • Papaya seeds are anti-parasitic and can be eaten every week. Have a couple tablespoons of them.
  • Black tea helps to clean toxins, including amoebic parasites, out of your body. Have an unsweetened cup twice a day.
  • Avoid foods with refined sugar, caffeine and alcohol.
  • Eat foods high in fiber and potassium like pumpkin and beets.
  • Up your intake of zinc, vitamin C and folic acid to help boost your immune system.
  • Have a couple pieces of pineapple. It contains bromelain which helps to destroy and flush out parasites.
  • Foods such as flaxseed help to make the colon inhospitable for the parasite so that it dies and is more easily flushed out of the body.
